About Us

Lisa Biasi, Our Owner and President

Lisa earned her Bachelors degree in Business Administration and her Masters in Gerontology from Penn State. From there she worked at numerous hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. It was then that she realized that most seniors wanted and needed to stay in their own home. When her own grandparents required assistance at home but did not require the type of managed care at a nursing facility, she was determined to allow them to remain in their own home as long as possible or until they could no longer care for themselves. Lisa then set out on a personal journey to locate the perfect home care agency to care for her grandparents. Navigating through the daunting home care process and after hiring a multitude of home care agencies for her grandparents, she still had not found any that truly had her family's best interest in mind. She finally realized that the perfect home care agency did not exist. She decided to change that and founded Lisa's Companions and Caregivers in 2003. From then on, she yearned to create the "perfect home care agency" where the caregivers would truly care for and about the clients and listen to their wants and needs.
